Dr. Jeff talks scary ears and stinky skin

On this episode of Desk Wench Confessions, Caitlin meets Dr. Jeff Tinsley, a veterinary dermatologist from the Animal Dermatology Clinic of Louisville, Kentucky.  Dr. Jeff talks about some  scary ears, stinky skin, and dealing with Karens and Chads along the way.
 
Dr. Jeff Tinsley is originally from Atlanta, GA. He earned his Bachelor of Science and Arts in Biological Science from the University of Georgia and his degree in veterinary medicine from Tuskegee University. Following veterinary school, he completed a rotating internship at Blue Pearl San Antonio and spent one year in general practice in San Antonio before beginning his dermatology internship at Animal Dermatology Clinic. Beyond dermatology, his biggest passions are connecting with clients, outstanding medical care, and being an advocate for his patients. In his spare time, he loves taking his dog "Renly" to the park, cooking, crossfit, and trying out local breweries and eateries.

Holiday special with Living Well

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! I hope you are humming that song now because my brain can’t help but fill in “with kids jingle belling and everyone telling you be of good cheer!” 
On a serious note, I do believe it is the most wonderful time of the year but sometimes I find myself struggling to go along with the rest of this song and be of good cheer. Instead of slowing down and enjoying the magic that comes with the season, I find myself going at a pace that isn’t sustainable. For pet lovers, one of the greatest fears is losing our beloved companion.  Grieving is very personal and different for each person and there is no right or wrong way to grieve.  Experts do agree that it does help when we talk about our feelings and share our story with others. 
The actress that graces out cover this month, Reagan J. Pasternak, has a beautiful story to tell and we are delighted to share it with you.  After losing her dog, Griffin, Reagan began writing a book about her journey of healing in hopes it would help others navigate their grief. I hope that readers will find comfort, insight, and companionship in the pages.
